Our Services

Welcome

HR Consulting

Clients

With a 'can do' approach and developing a strong 'business partner' relationship, Julie will become an extension of your business.  She works 'with' you rather than 'for' you giving help with those challenging disciplinary or grievances, or restructures.  We can create a tailored handbook and template contracts of employment that fits with your business style and ethos; even, guide through redundancy processes or help manage your absence issues.  And if line management or staff development is needed, we'll create some bespoke training designed specifically for the skills set and knowledge of the attendees.

So the service is tailor made and as flexible as you want it - why not read the testimonials to see what clients have to say.

It's crucial that you are kept up to date with the changes to employment legislation, or on how the outcomes of recent tribunal cases might impact on your business as well as about issues or queries that I have come across in my day to day work that I feel will be of relevance to you in the workplace.  Taking a pro-active approach, we will email out to our clients with any relevant update or article of interest.  And they won't be legalistic or unclear; they are all drafted in a clear and understandable way that makes sense to employers.

Some examples:-

  • Is it a breach of human rights to contact someone who is off work sick?
  • Can I make a deduction of wage for an employee who has carelessly damaged some equipment?
  • What does the recent tribunal case of Lock v British Gas  mean to me regarding holiday pay as I pay some staff commission?
  • An employee who has been off sick for several weeks with a bad back has been seen on Facebook having a fantastic time at Blackpool this weekend - do I still have to pay him as he clearly isn't that poorly?

If you have any questions to ask of your own,  or would like a 'fact sheet' on a particular topic just give us a ring or email and we will be happy to help you.

Having managed teams in various sectors herself, Julie knows only too well how the wrath of employment legislation poses huge challenges for line managers, team leaders and employers in the workplace.  We will give you practical recommendations, based on real life experiences, and find options for you to consider to achieve positive outcomes that meet your needs, rather than telling you simply what the law requires.  And we're happy to attend your premises to hand-hold you through a challenging process if that suits you better.

We aim to be a true 'Business Partner' that adds value to your business.

If you need a pragmatic and commercial approach to a HR or employment law matter, whether remotely or face to face, or if you need any HR documentation, tribunal support or bespoke training,  with over 30 years combined management and consultancy experience, JD Employment Solutions is waiting to help you.
